Our Year 11 General Mathematics program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the VIC Syllabus. Students build on their practices of earning and managing money, computation and practical arithmetic. We introduce the fundamental skills of working with matrices, graphs and networks and provide practice to help students build mastery. The study of measurement and similarity are further developed for three-dimensional objects. A major application of linear relations is linear programming. Students will learn techniques and processes to find optimal solutions to linear programming problems. Our program explores the statistical investigation process, applications of trigonometry as well as number patterns and recursion.

Mathematical Methods Year 11

Our Year 11 Mathematical Methods program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the VIC Syllabus. Students examine the properties and graphs of linear, polynomial, inverse, exponential and logarithmic functions. Trigonometric functions are developed to include special identities.

Our Year 11 Mathematical Methods program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the VIC Syllabus. Students examine the properties and graphs of linear, polynomial, inverse, exponential and logarithmic functions. Trigonometric functions are developed to include special identities. Students also learn to select appropriate techniques when working with arithmetic and geometric sequences and their application to financial situations. Investigating instantaneous rates of change helps build a student's conceptual understanding of differential calculus. Developing mastery of differentiation techniques enables students to solve related problems such as describing motion of a particle. The fundamental theory behind probability is expanded to include more complex techniques including conditional probability, independence and combinations.

Great support!

Clue learning took away the struggle and stress I had home schooling my son. Now that my year 2 is with Clue Learning, he is very eager to learn and very compliant with school work. Most important thing, he is excited and happy with every session he has.The teachers make him happy too!!

Good refresher

The tutoring has been a good refresher of some of the concepts learnt at school. It's been good for my understanding to see where my child is at and what they need assistance with/areas of concern. It's also good to see how they do sums these days (I've forgotten how I learnt things many years ago) in order to be able to support them at home. It is at the child's pace which is great. The two tutors we've had have been good and encouraging. The online environment is less confronting for the student however there is a slight lag in the online environment. The online 'whiteboard' is a little clunky to use.

Great tutoring program

I wasn't sure about online tutoring at first especially after online schooling, my son hated it. But Cluey has definitely surpassed my expectations. Initally they asked alot of questions about the situation/concern, what I would like my son to learn, his personality and interests to match a tudor for him. He had trouble putting his ideas onto paper and to spice his sentences up. After a few lessons, I have notice a difference in his confidence level and has started to enjoy writing stories. The lessons are very interactive and my son is having fun at the same time. It's convenient at home and flexibile to schedule and reschedule. At the moment I have scheduled it fortnightly which works really well for our busy family schedule. I highly recommend Cluey and have no regrets signing up.

Danielle Suzanne

So far we are enjoying the convenience of at home tutoring. Our tutor from our first session left so hopefully the tutors are consistent and we don't get new ones regularly. Other than that it is been good. I will be sticking with it so that's a good sign :)

Lauren Peterson

My son was falling behind in maths due to lockdown and home schooling. His Cluey tutor has him engaged and he is enjoying maths learning again.

Jennie Pinheiro
