The Year 7 Integers program is aligned with the Number and Algebra strand of the Australian curriculum. Students studying Integers apply the laws of arithmetic, such as the associative, commutative and distributive laws for multiplication and addition. They learn about and apply mental computation strategies and explore how and why the order of operations is important.
