Develop knowledge and skills in preparation for Year 3 NAPLAN Numeracy
The Year 3 NAPLAN Full Program contains preparation material and practice questions to support students' exam readiness. The Education Team at Cluey has analysed questions from previous papers and created content that addresses the learning areas and concepts that are assessed in the NAPLAN Maths paper. Sessions in this program target NAPLAN concepts in Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry and Statistics and Probability.
This 14 session learning program is made up of the following topics, practice tests and feedback sessions
Selects a numerical representation of a number written in words
Represents a four-digit number using words and digits
Locates three two-digit numbers on a number line
Counts the number of parts on an object
Counts efficiently by using groups of hundreds, tens, and ones
Adds numbers to less than 20
Solves a problem with three unknowns using addition
Solves a subtraction problem
Adds and subtracts two- and three-digit numbers to solve a multi-step problem
Completes a number sentence showing two additions of equal value
Uses an addition pattern to determine the sum of the next two terms in a sequence
Adds three one- and two-digit numbers

Represents multiplication as repeated addition
Selects the correct number sentence to solve a problem using multiplication
Determines half of the number of items in a display
Selects the correct division equation represented by a model
Calculates multiples of a unit fraction to complete a whole
Counts a small collection of notes
Solves a simple problem using groups of equal sets to represent division
The course includes an online test for students to practise answering NAPLAN-style questions under simulated exam conditions.
The session following the practice test is dedicated to reviewing the student's results. It's an opportunity to discuss areas of strength and weakness in depth and to develop personalised NAPLAN test strategies.
