Develop knowledge and skills in preparation for Year 7 NAPLAN Numeracy
The Year 7 NAPLAN Full Program contains preparation material and practice questions to support students' exam readiness. The Education Team at Cluey has analysed questions from previous papers and created content that addresses the learning areas and concepts that are assessed in the NAPLAN Maths paper. Sessions in this program target NAPLAN concepts in Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry and Statistics and Probability.
This 14 session learning program is made up of the following topics, practice tests and feedback sessions
Describes the rule to continue a multiplicative sequence
Substitutes a value into equations to determine equivalent number sentences
Uses a pattern to identify a missing number in a table
Subtracts decimals without digital technologies
Identifies a decimal with the given digit in the thousandths
Determines a fraction of a quantity
Subtracts fractions with related denominators in context
Expresses one quantity as a percentage of another with digital technology
Identifies the smallest decimal from a list
Calculates the final cost of an item after two successive percentage discounts
Divides whole numbers where the result is a terminating decimal
Represents the numerical form of a decimal that is given in context
Identifies the correct representation of decimals on a number line

Identifies a word problem for a given multiplication number sentence
Multiplies a decimal by a whole number to solve a problem
Solves problems using the division facts of five
The course includes an online test for students to practise answering NAPLAN-style questions under simulated exam conditions.
The session following the practice test is dedicated to reviewing the student's results. It's an opportunity to discuss areas of strength and weakness in depth and to develop personalised NAPLAN test strategies.
