Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Catherine is a qualified, registered Teacher holding her Bachelor of Education (Home Economics) and having 30 years of teaching experience. She has experience with students in Years 8-10 as well as ESL (English as a Second Language) teaching. She has worked as a Teacher Librarian and as a Supply Teacher, assisting students with assignments and their Language and Literary learning across the spectrum of 2-12 years. Catherine is currently facilitating a leadership program with Years 10, 11 and 12 students which enables their growth in emotional intelligence.

She has a kind and friendly approach, she is patient and committed to her students. Amelia completed her Bachelor of Media in 2008 through the University of Adelaide and her Master of Teaching (Primary) in 2014 at the University of Western Australia. She has taught in Primary schools in both Western Australia and South Australian where she has planned and implemented learning programs across key learning areas including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health, Design and Digital Technologies. She is now working as a Casual Relief Teacher with Years 2-6. Amelia is passionate about education and aims to inspire children to have a love of learning.
