Year 10 Maths
Students build on their algebraic techniques and their application to linear and non-linear graphs. They examine proportion and rates of change and apply then to practical problems. Students build on their understanding and practices of trigonometry, congruence, similarity, surface area and volume within real-world contexts. Statistics is further developed to include analysis of bivariate data.

Meet Dr Selina Samuels
Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.
Maths Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Shamron commenced his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the University of Wollongong in 2017. He has 2 years of formal tutoring experience in Engineering, Mathematics and Physics teaching. He also joined a university led tutoring group to assist peers. Shamron is a straightforward, outgoing Tutor with a passion for imparting the knowledge he has onto his students as they work towards acquiring educational independence. VIC University Student (Bachelor of Commerce)
Mathematics: Secondary & Senior
Oshadha completed his VCE in 2018 with an ATAR of 98.25 and is now studying a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Actuarial Studies at the University of Melbourne. Throughout Year 12 he assisted his peers through Math tutoring and since then has also done his own private tutoring in Math with students in Years 11/12. Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.

First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?

During the session
