Students are likely to encounter new kinds of texts – hybrids of visual, spoken and written, featuring ethical and global dilemmas, challenging and unpredictable plots. They will be evaluating, comparing and composing increasingly complex writing and performance. It’s a great chance for them to consider their own position in the world as a creator and responder. Cluey has an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to help with essays, oral presentations, creative and persuasive writing – plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.
Your content plan appears in the learning environment, sequenced to your learning needs and accessible with ease by you and your tutor.

Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.
Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.
Our tutors are all qualified teachers, exceptional ATAR achievers or experts in their respective fields.

“Cluey Learning provided a much-needed boost to our child's education. Suddenly faced with the demands of year 11 English, our child went from near top of the class to near bottom in the space of a term. Her Cluey Learning tutor helped give her the confidence and concepts she was missing. If your child is struggling, even slightly, I recommend Cluey Learning. Their one-on-one classes and friendly, intelligent tutors will be of great assistance to giving your child the boost they need.”
