English Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Meagan is a qualified Secondary teacher with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and a Graduate Diploma of Education. Meagan has extensive experience teaching English, History and Drama. Meagan tutors English, including NAPLAN preparation to students in Year 2-12, and LANTITE students.

Pheobe has been teaching since 1998, completing her Bachelor of Primary Education from England, her Post Graduate Diploma in Education from New Zealand and her Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Flinders University, South Australia. She has taught in various counties around the world, starting in Australia in 2015 with experience in all primary years. Pheobe is passionate about inspiring student confidence through building a learning partnership and is enthusiastic about English, enjoying assisting students towards their full potential.

Maths Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Judith
NSW Teacher
Mathematics: Secondary
Biology: Senior
Judith is a qualified, accredited Teacher with her main teaching experience in areas of Science, Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies in Years 11 and 12, and Mathematics in Years 7-10. She has also tutored students from Years 7 -10 in Mathematics and Science and Years 11 and 12 in Biology. Judith helps her students to become more confident and to achieve to their ability. She tries to adjust to each student's learning style, and to ensure that they understand the concepts they are studying.
Mandeep Kaur
VIC University Student (Masters of Teaching (Secondary))
Mathematics: Secondary & Lantite
Mandeep completed her Bachelor of Science in 2014 and Master of Physics in 2016 in India. In 2019 she commenced her Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Victorian University. She has had 2 placements as part of her university, during 2019 and 2020 and has been a volunteer Tutor at a local Secondary college. Mandeep enjoys helping her students understand the concepts so that they can get good marks, but also to help them to get engaged in Mathematics.

Safaa completed her HSC in 2017 and is currently completing a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies. Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
