Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Tom completed his Bachelor of Secondary Education in Literature and Cultural Studies in 2013. He taught for 3 years as an English Teacher from 2015-2017, moving on to English as a Second Language teaching internationally. Tom has experience teaching all secondary years and has experience with children with special needs. Tom is a passionate Tutor and hopes to share his love for literature with his students.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Tuvya completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 92.30 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Data Science and Decisions at University of New South Wales.
