Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. As part of her university studies she had a placement with years 7-9 and has been working as an English Teacher since 2016 and as Head of English since 2020. Aimee's passion is to see students flourish in their learning, and gain confidence in their abilities as they discover who they are as a person.

Amy has been working as a fully qualified and registered Teacher for fifteen years. She has worked as a Teacher in Victoria, Western Australia and in Northern Territory. Amy loves teaching students and being part of the learning process. She is very patient and understanding and can work with each student's individual learning style in order to assist them with their school work and help them improve their academic skills. She can help students gain confidence in their academic abilities and help them to become very competent at completing their school work as well as enjoying the learning process.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.
