Boost your chance of academic excellence with us
High achieving students are often left behind in the classroom, with busy teachers focussing on the students who’re struggling rather than the ones who are doing well.
This leaves gifted and talented students with nothing to ‘stretch’ their capabilities, making it harder for them to gain entrance to a Selective School.
At Cluey, we empower students to reach their full potential, through innovative problem solving, abstract reasoning and plenty of worked examples. Designed around achievement, it’s the perfect preparatory step towards applying the school of your choice.
Let’s start a learning journey for…

Cluey empowers students to be ready for Selective School
Our tutoring programs focus on advanced English and Mathematics for Years 6 to 10 (covering the critical years where a transition to Selective School usually occurs).
With a cycle of Concept > Demonstration > Worked Examples and Active Problem-Solving in face-to-face, 1-to-1 online sessions, we help students build mastery in each topic so that they’re confident and ready for entrance testing.
Personalised tutoring.
Focus on cognitive and reasoning skills.
Exam time and maximisation techniques.
Reduce their anxiety while building confidence.
How does Cluey do Selective School preparation?
It’s all comes down to practice.
Before embarking on a tutorial program with us, our skilled tutors evaluate the knowledge and reasoning of each student to know where best to focus our teaching.
Once any gaps are established, we customise your tutorial program to enhance any areas that are lacking, while also improving your child’s overall powers of reasoning (as that’s the key to success in testing).
To further reinforce their learning, we also provide practice questions to work on between sessions. This helps them retain knowledge and be better prepared when they sit their tests.
