Year 9 English
In Year 9, students will be engaging in higher order reasoning and increasing abstraction. It’s a great chance for students to consider their own position in the world as a creator and responder. The Cluey Education Team is ready to support them at every stage, with units for essays, oral presentations, creative and persuasive writing, as well as spelling, syntax and grammar. Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

She is an online Tutor to Chinese speaking students in High School aged 10-20 years old, and has experience as an English as a Second Language Tutor with Primary and Secondary students. Carolina is dedicated to teaching students English and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
