Sonia has a very student-centred approach to her sessions, creating a welcoming environment for her students to build confidence and ask questions.

Gemma is a qualified Teacher, holding a Bachelor of Education (Primary) with over 7 years of experience of teaching students across all Primary years including some experience with students with special learning needs. She is currently working as a Casual Relief Teacher. Gemma is a friendly Tutor who has helped her students learn in different ways, to grow and develop in their skills and confidence.

Rita

NSW Teacher

Rita is a qualified Teacher, holding a Bachelor of Education (Primary). She has been working as a Teacher since 2018. Rita believes education must involve the whole person, the heart, the soul and the intellect. That education is not a one-size-fits-all and therefore, just as there are a varied range of personalities and abilities with her students, so should there be a range of teaching strategies and assessments to enable each student to have access to the education they deserve.

Margaret is a qualified Teacher with experience teaching and tutoring Primary students. With over 12 years of experience as a Teacher, Margaret is passionate about developing students' key literacy and numeracy skills as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Margaret believes in fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment where students engage in collaborative discussions and feels that all students can reach their potential.

Hayat

VIC University Student (Master of Teaching (Primary & Secondary))

Hayat is currently studying her Master of Teaching, Primary and Secondary. She also holds her Master of TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics. Hayat has over 12 years of teaching experience, as a Community Teacher, working with students ages 6 to 13 years, as a Private Tutor in Mathematics and English and most recently as a Teaching Assistance, teaching small groups of students in Science, Mathematics and English. Hayat is passionate about working with young learners and helping students to excel academically.

Habib

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Vision Science / Masters of Clinical Optometry)

Habib achieved an ATAR of 97.75 and is currently studying a Masters of Clinical Optometry at the University of New South Wales. Habib found numerous learning techniques that helped him academically and is able to impart this on to his students. He loves breaking down complex concepts so that they are easy to understand and build on this knowledge.

Henry

NSW University Student (Doctor of Medicine / Bachelor of Medical Studies)

Henry completed his International Baccalaureate in 2019, achieving a score equivalent to an ATAR of 99.60. He is now studying his Doctor of Medicine/Bachelor of Medical Studies at the University of New South Wales. Henry's aim is to assist students to make the most of their natural abilities and to encourage new approaches to learning and study that fit with each student.

Preetha

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Biomedical Science)

Preetha completed her High School education as one of the top students of her graduating year in Mathematics and Psychology and was a participant of the Gifted and Talented program. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Deakin University and has experience with tutoring High School students in Math and Biology. She is involved in community outreach and has a fun and bubbly personality that helps to engage students in the learning process. She aims to instil her students with a love of learning.

Ming

Ming is currently a Lab demonstrator and has vast experience tutoring as private Tutor. Ming is passionate about education and aims to inspire children to have a love of learning. He is committed to creating a supportive learning environment and has a friendly and approachable manner.

Bartholomew

ACT University Student (Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry and Psychology Major))

Bartholomew completed the International Baccalaureate with a score of 38/45, equivalent to an ATAR score of 96.75. He is currently in his first year of a Bachelor of Science with majors in Biochemistry and Psychology at Australian National University. Bartholomew has experience in tutoring Chemistry at a High School level and has a passion for Sciences.

Allira

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Biomedical Science)

Allira graduated High School in 2018 with an ATAR of 90.75. She went on to study her Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Newcastle. Allira is an experienced English and Chemistry Tutor with Secondary and Senior Secondary High School students. Allira strives to connect with her students, using her excellent communication skills to discover the best way each of them learns.

Jeevika

Jeevika graduated High School with an ATAR of 99.05. During her time at school she tutored fellow students in different age groups with Mathematics. Jeevika is adept in building solid relationships with her students and is committed to helping them to achieve their best through their learning journey.

Ashan completed his Bachelor of Science - majoring in Analytical Chemistry at Curtin University in 2017. Ashan has a passion for the Sciences and enjoys helping students gain ownership over their studies and building confidence in their work. He finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.

Nathan is a student at Monash University, studying a double degree of IT and Science with majors in Chemistry and Software Development. He has a very strong knowledge of Maths and Science and aims to help his students develop their learning and meet their educational goals! Nathan also has 8 years of experience volunteering at Newhope Baptist Church with children aged 5 - 18, developing life skills and providing support with school work if needed.
