Shakti

Shakti is an experienced ESL teacher and has been teaching for the past 10 years from absolute beginners to advanced students. She enjoys teaching writing skills such as paragraph structure, thesis sentences, topic sentences, summarising and paraphrasing. She is also passionate about teaching grammar and helping students to apply it in their language.

Courteney

QLD University Student (Bachelor of Education (Primary))

Courteney is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Griffith University. She enjoys working with students of various ages and abilities and loves to see them learn and grow. Courtney has a passion for learning and loves to impart this on to her students so they can be lifelong learners.

Samuel

Samuel is an experienced English and ESL (English as a Second Language), including working with students with Autism and ADHD and has completed "Educating Students with Special Needs" at the University of Technology, Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Teaching (Graduate) in Secondary Education and an I to I TEFL Certificate. Samuel is adept at helping his students feel comfortable and promoting learning in a safe and welcoming environment. He is confident with developmentally-appropriate strategies for supporting students of all backgrounds.

Jaiden

SA University Student (Master of Teaching (Secondary))

Jaiden is a Pre-Service Teacher currently studying his Master of Education (Secondary). His university placements have included teaching English and Geography to a wide range of High School students. Jaiden enjoys helping students achieve their learning goals and getting them passionate about their studies.

Celia

NSW Teacher

Celia completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Sociology and a Master of Teaching (Primary). She has worked as a classroom Teacher for over 6 years, with experience in the Montessori method and working with students on the Autism Spectrum. Celia is passionate about teaching students develop their key literacy and numeracy skills to help them work towards acquiring educational independence.

Linh

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education (Honours))

Linh is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Primary and Secondary Education, with a major in Science (Chemistry and Physiology) and minor in Economics. In 2019, she had a university placement with students in Years 1, 4 and 8 in Mathematics and English. Linh's teaching philosophy is to put a strong emphasis on problem-solving skills and leading students to answers rather than simply memorising facts.

Emily

WA University Student (Masters of Teaching (Primary))

Emily has completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and is now undertaking her Master of Primary Teaching. Emily has experience providing support to primary students in Literacy and Numeracy and enjoys building relationships with her students that help to strengthen their ability and desire to learn.

Alicia

SA Teacher

Alicia has been teaching and educating young people for the past 12 years in both Pre-school and Primary school classroom settings. She is passionate about English, in particular reading and text features. Alicia is passionate about making a positive impact in her student's lives and sharing her enthusiasm. She tries to develop classes that engage and challenge her students and hopes to inspire her students to become life-long learners.

Taryn

QLD Teacher

Taryn has been a qualified Teacher for the past 13 years with experience in both Primary and Secondary schools. Taryn holds a Bachelor of Multimedia and Technology, and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching. Taryn has taught students from a range of different learning abilities as well as students with diverse learning needs. Taryn strives to build her students confidence and create a safe environment, which encourage her students to become lifelong learners.
