VIC University Student (Bachelor of Arts)

Parvathy completed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 95.1 then went on to commence her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne. During 2020 she worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School with children aged 6 to 13, helping with Numeracy and Literacy. She also has experience as a Tutor with Primary school students in 2019. Parvathy encourages her students through difficult subjects by explaining theory to them in different and interactive ways.

Andrea is a qualified, registered Teacher, holding her Bachelor of Education (Primary/Middle Schooling) with over 10 years' experience teaching, mainly High School year levels. Andrea applies various differentiation strategies with many students having a range of learning challenges. Mathew is a qualified Teacher, holding his Masters of Teaching Practice (Primary) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Since 2020 he has been working as a Primary Classroom Teacher. He also has experience as a Teachers Assistance through his 8 weeks of university placements. Mathew is passionate about developing his students understanding of the world around them with an inclusive and supportive philosophy.

William is currently in his third year of his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree and has over 3 years' experience tutoring, helping younger students with Math and Chemistry. William is passionate about teaching and learning especially in the fields of Math and Science and when teaching these topics tries to show their real world applications and share his enthusiasm about the subjects. Benjamin completed his Southern Australian Certificate of Education in 2018 and in 2019 he commenced his Bachelor of Mathematics (Data Science) at the University of South Australia. He has tutored for 2 years in Mathematics concepts with years 1 to year 12 with a tutoring company and worked as a private tutor with years 2 and 3 in 2019. Benjamin is a vibrant tutor with great interpersonal and communication skills that he uses with children of all ages.

Erin graduated from High School in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 97.45 and has experience tutoring Year 12 students in Mathematical Methods. Erin is a committed Tutor, dedicated to helping her students improve their studies and succeed in their academic goals.

Hassan

Hassan graduated High School in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 96.45. During his time in High School he informally tutored Year 8 students which he believes improved both his communication and empathy skills. Hassan's first aim as a Tutor is to help his students achieve academic excellence and to teach them effective tools for future self-study and self-reliance.

Ian is a retired Chemistry Teacher with 40 years of teaching experience, with a focus on the South Australian Certificate of Education years 11 and 12 Chemistry. He has tutored with the Adelaide Education Group during school holidays and has written content material for all South Australian senior Chemistry courses. He brings confidence and a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students.

Matthew has previously worked at universities in teaching support roles. He enjoys setting learning goals with his students based on their learning needs. He helps them unlock their full potential and succeed on their learning journey so they that are confident in the skills that they have, ready to take on new and exciting concepts.

Parul

Parul holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology as well as a Master in Biotechnology (Advanced) in Immunology. She has tutored Chemistry and Biology to students in Years 10 to 12. Parul's experience has helped her learn to devise different plans for each student as every child has a different grasping level and understanding.

Bernice completed her Bachelor of Science in 2016, at the University of Queensland, majoring in Biomedical Science. Bernice has experience as a Tutor at Primary, Secondary and Tertiary level and is currently a High School Tutor In the subjects of English, Mathematics, Accounting, Chemistry and Biology. Bernice enjoys working with a wide array of students with different learning styles and finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) from Flinders University. Ellen believes in fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment where students engage in collaborative discussions, and feels that with the right support, students can reach their potential.

John

VIC Teacher

John has 9 years' experience tutoring Primary, Secondary and University students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting and English. He also has 2 years' experience as a Senior Teacher of Year 10 and 12 Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry students. During John's time teaching and tutoring, he has helped many students with different learning needs, including those with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia as well as supporting students with Autism. John holds a Bachelor of Science/Mathematics and a Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting from the University of Newcastle. John has a strong focus on the ongoing understanding, reasoning, development and improvement of Primary and Secondary school students.

She has professional experience tutoring Victorian Certificate of Education students in Mathematics and Chemistry. Charlotte has a passion for problem solving and helping others. Charlotte has strong communication skills that she uses with her students and a love of teaching and learning.
