Afroditi is a qualified Primary Teacher with experience teaching all Primary years in both Numeracy and Literacy. Afroditi has a passion for student education and wellbeing and encourages her students to have fun while learning the content.

Janine

NSW Teacher

Janine completed her Bachelor of Education (Primary) in 2021 at Curtin University and has experience teaching English at a Japanese Kindergarten in Singapore. She also has experience in tutoring children from Preschool up to Year 6 in English and Mathematics. Janine enjoys creating an inviting, supportive learning environment for her students for them to feel comfortable in and to have fun while learning.

Andrew

Andrew has completed his Diploma in Science Studies (Chemistry and Maths). He has experience teaching in adult education, including school leavers, from year 10 to mature students, teaching STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to students with different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. Andrew approaches tutoring by first understanding the student in front of him, what drives them and who or what they want to become. Once trust is established, Andrew believes that confidence and knowledge can then be increased through logic and patience.

Preetha completed her High School education as one of the top students of her graduating year in Mathematics and Psychology and was a participant of the Gifted and Talented program. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Deakin University and has experience with tutoring High School students in Math and Biology. She is involved in community outreach and has a fun and bubbly personality that helps to engage students in the learning process. She aims to instil her students with a love of learning.

Mark

Mark is an experienced school Teacher and lecturer in education with many years teaching pre-service teachers to teach Maths and Science. He has taught in High Schools in Australia and the UK, lectured and tutored Mathematics in universities also. Mark has a PhD in Mathematics. Mark is passionate about helping students develop their key numeracy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence.

VIC University Student (PhD (Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Science))

Edward has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and is now studying his PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Science at Monash University. He has experience tutoring Secondary school students Mathematics and Chemistry, and has a keen interest in the Sciences which he hopes to share with his students. Edward encourages his students to ask questions so they can better understand all aspects of a topic.

Jinxuan

SA Teacher

Jinxuan (Emily) is a qualified Secondary Maths Teacher, finishing her Master of Teaching in 2020. She has experience teaching Lower Secondary Mathematics and Senior Mathematics as well. She also has experience with 1:1 Mathematics tutoring. Emily is dedicated to helping her students exceed their potential and achieve success. She is good at building connections with students to strengthen engagement and help students find their talent in numeracy study.

Mariela

NSW Teacher

Mariela is a qualified, accredited Teacher, holding a Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching (Secondary). As part of her university studies she completed Practicums with Secondary students in Science, Biology and Chemistry. Between 2016 and 2021 she worked as a Learning Support Specialist. Mariela has experience working with a diverse range of students, assisting the facilitation of supported learning for special needs learning students and exploring a holistic approach to her student's wellbeing.

Arya completed high school at the Queensland Academy For Science, Mathematics and Technology (International Baccalaureate) in 2020, with a score of 44/45, equivalent to an ATAR of 99.75 continuing on with studying her Bachelor of Engineering. She has experience as a private Tutor to secondary students in English, Mathematics and Science. Arya believes in building a trusting tutor-student relationship so that the student can be comfortable in being wrong and open about their struggles. She understands that each child has their own learning pace and keeps this in mind when tutoring.

Dilkini is in her final year of a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at Monash University. During high school, she was awarded a D'Angelo Family Science Scholarship. She has two years of experience tutoring primary and secondary school mathematics, as well as VCE year 11 mathematical methods. Huy has been tutoring High School students for almost 2 years. He is enthusiastic, reliable and focuses on the understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications.
