Liesl

VIC Teacher

Liesl has taught as a classroom teacher for over 6 years across Victoria and the Northern Territory. Whilst teaching, she ran a reading intervention group after school for students in the school with English as a second language. Liesl has also tutored students who were struggling with reading, and has had a lot of experience teaching students with English as an Additional Language, ADHD, Autism, Down-Syndrome and Global Development Delay. She currently tutors Primary English and Maths, as well as NAPLAN.

James

QLD Teacher

James is a qualified and registered Primary Teacher with experience teaching Literacy and Numeracy across all primary years. James brings an engaging and fun approach to his sessions, which focus on the student and developing their weaker areas, while consolidating their strengths. James enjoys working with all students and teaching them the skills to become independent learners.

Casey

Casey is currently studying her Bachelor Of Human Services. She has 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She is adept at paying attention to each child's abilities and interests in order to tailor their learning and nurture their strengths, helping each of her students to be confident to tackle their challenges.

Sherry

NSW Teacher

Sherry is a qualified Primary Teacher and is completing her degree in 2020. She has been working casually in various public schools and has experience with all Primary years. She has tutoring experience in centres in Literacy and Numeracy to students in Years 3-9. Sherry is flexible in her tutoring, always eager to learn and experiment with new things. She ensures that her students are supported and valued by building a rapport, setting a safe and engaging learning environment and setting high expectations.

Gary

QLD Teacher

Gary is a qualified Teacher, holding his Bachelor of Education and Diploma of Teaching (Primary/Secondary Physical Education). He's most recently been working as a Relief/Contract Teacher since 2018. Gary has a strong desire for each of his students to achieve their best. He has a great passion for learning and inspiring others and believes that learning is for everyone, that early discovery of the joy of learning can lead to a lifelong sense of appreciation and fulfilment.

Raisa

NSW University Student (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science )

Raisa completed her year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 97.60. She is currently studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of New South Wales. Raisa enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge. She is patient and nurtures her students to learn with confidence and to assist them in realising their goals for the future, as well as helping them reach their full potential academically.

Daniel

NSW University Student (Master of Teaching (Secondary))

Daniel is currently studying Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the Australian Catholic University. He is passionate about helping students develop their key numeracy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence. Daniel has a passion for guiding students to reach their full potential based on their interests, strengths, and individual learning styles.

Varun

Varun has both a Master Degree in Chemistry, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical Chemistry. Varun has experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant, and has teaching expertise in Secondary Mathematics and Chemistry. Varun is also currently working at The University of New South Wales as an Academic.

Troy

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science (Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Honours))

Troy graduated High School in 2019 with an ATAR of 91.20 and is currently studying Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Troy is a confident Tutor and is looking forward to helping students expand their mathematical knowledge and confidence.

Arshdeep

NSW University Student (Master of Teaching (Secondary))

Arshdeep is currently taking her Master of Teaching, Secondary Science at Curtin University. She has completed her Bachelor's Degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Western Sydney University in 2018. She has experience in tutoring students in Chemistry and Mathematics. Arshdeep has a love for teaching and learning which he imparts onto her students.

Lucy

VIC University Student (Computational Biologist)

Lucy is currently studying Computational Biologist/Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne. She completed her Bachelor in Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry in 2018. She has worked with students on the spectrum and with ADHD students to find alternative study and learning methods where conventional classroom teaching was not optimal for their learning. Rebecca is passionate about making a positive impact in her students' lives and sharing her enthusiasm.

Ann

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Science (Medical Science))

Ann is currently studying her Bachelor of Medical Science at The University of Sydney. She has experience tutoring primary school children across a range of subjects from English and Math to more aptitude-based skills. She also tutored fellow peers in junior high school Mathematics. Ann has a passion for English and Science, particularly Chemistry. Ann develops empathetic connections with her students and is keen to use her interests to make lessons as engaging as possible.

William

William is currently in his third year of his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree and has over 3 years' experience tutoring, helping younger students with Math and Chemistry. William is passionate about teaching and learning especially in the fields of Math and Science and when teaching these topics tries to show their real world applications and share his enthusiasm about the subjects. He believes in fostering a positive and collaborative environment for his students to develop a love for learning and help them achieve their academic goals.

Sherryn

QLD University Student (Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours))

Sherryn is a university student currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) at the University of Queensland. She has previous tutoring experience, working with pre-school, primary and high school students. Sherryn is very patient, friendly and fluent in both English and Mandarin. She currently tutors Maths and Chemistry.

Jack

SA University Student (Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering / Bachelor of Computer Science)

Jack completed the International Baccalaureate with an impressive ATAR score of 92 and is now completing a Bachelor of Aeronautics at the University of NSW. Jack has previous experience tutoring students in Maths and Science, and enjoys sharing his passion with others. Jack is a dedicated Tutor who strives to bring out the best in his students.

Zuhrah

Zuhrah completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of South Australian in 2020, achieving Distinctions and High Distinctions across all of her units. During the last year of her studies she was part of the UniMentor program and previous to that the Study Help Pals program for 2 years, both at the University. Zuhrah believes in adapting to ever-changing teaching techniques to provide students with a unique learning experience.

Rayana

Rayana graduated from Monash University with Year 1 of Biomedicine. She is now currently studying Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University.
