Prior to graduating, she had 2 years as a School Learning Support Officer, working in a Support Unit with students with a range of disabilities, in an English Intensive Centre with refugees, and in the mainstream setting. Since becoming a Teacher she has worked in an English Intensive Centre teaching English as an Additional Language students and as a mainstream Teacher, working with students with different abilities and disabilities. This has given her experience in differentiating lessons to suit the learning needs of each of her students. Amelia is a patient Tutor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, helping her to quickly establish relationships with her students.
