Shirin

VIC Teacher

Shirin is a qualified Primary School Teacher, having completed her Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning in 2013. She started off as a Casual Relief Teacher across all Primary years, then went on to classroom teaching with a Year 1 and 2 class for 3 years before returning to casual teaching in 2020. She has experience across a lot of different schools as well as experience with special needs students. Shirin brings great patience to her students and realises that some students require more support than others.

Colleen

VIC Teacher

Colleen is a qualified, registered Primary Teacher, obtaining her Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) in 2014. She has worked with children of varying ages, skills and abilities and enjoys seeing her students' confidence build as they learn new things and discover more about their strengths and interests. Colleen interacts with her students by delivering a rich and engaging approach to teaching.

Kristie

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Commerce Specialist)

Kristie is currently studying Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce Specialist, majoring in Accounting (CA and CPA Accredited) and specialisation in Finance at Monash University. Kristie's vision is to focus on providing a safe and positive learning environment that is engaging and inspires students of all learning levels and abilities to learn and engage with their education.

Thanikeshan

QLD University Student (Doctor of Medicine)

Thanikeshan completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 99.50. He is currently a Medical Student at University of New England. Thanikeshan has a passion for tutoring mathematics and is committed to helping others achieve their goals.

Arpana

VIC University Student (PhD (Quantum Physics))

Arpana is a PhD (Quantum Physics) student at Swinburne University who loves teaching and explaining mathematics and science at each level. She has long been involved in tutoring first year university mathematics and science, and really likes to engage with young minds, helping them believe that science and math can be an enjoyable subject to discuss.

Chris is a qualified Teacher and has been working with students in IT and Mathematics for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma of Education. In addition to his work in classrooms, Chis has also been a lecturer at the University of Sydney, and Head Teacher at Code Camp.

Giuseppe

NSW Teacher

Giuseppe is a qualified, accredited Teacher, having completing their Bachelor of Arts/Teaching, majoring in Mathematics in 2019. He is now studying his Master of Mathematics Education at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Giuseppe believes that all students regardless of ability can achieve success in education. He aims to share his passion for Mathematics to students to promote the idea that everyone can do well in Mathematics. His teaching strategies include a range of flexible and differentiated lessons that focus on student strengths, interests and goals. Giuseppe is always looking for new, authentic and real-life practical ways to teach Mathematics to accentuate its purpose and foster interest in his students necessary for academic success.

Andrew

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) / Bachelor of Science)

Andrew completed a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science at Monash University in 2018, including a double Mathematics major in Science and a Physics minor in Science. He is now completing a PhD in Neuroscience and Mathematics at the University of Queensland. He has experience as Teaching Associate at Monash University. Andrew is confident in explaining concepts in a multitude of ways so that students who think differently can understand the various concepts required. He is comfortable with building a solid rapport with his students.

SA Teacher

Ian is a retired Chemistry Teacher with 40 years of teaching experience, with a focus on the South Australian Certificate of Education years 11 and 12 Chemistry. He has tutored with the Adelaide Education Group during school holidays and has written content material for all South Australian senior Chemistry courses. He brings confidence and a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students.

VIC University Student (Doctor of Medicine)

Todd completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science, with a major in Molecular Life Sciences through Deakin University in 2020, following on with his Doctor of Medicine. He has done volunteer tutoring to Victorian Certificate of Education students in small groups while he was in High School and has helped peers throughout his university studies. Todd has a passion for the Sciences and enjoys helping students gain ownership over their studies and building confidence in their work.

Tristan completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 99.60. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science/Doctor of Medicine at University of Newcastle. Tristan creates an engaging and fun environment in her sessions, and strives to ensure his students reach their full potential.

Dilkini

VIC University Student (Bachelor of Science)

Dilkini is in her final year of a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at Monash University. During high school, she was awarded a D'Angelo Family Science Scholarship. She has two years of experience tutoring primary and secondary school mathematics, as well as VCE year 11 mathematical methods. She encourages her students to enjoy the learning process and supports them to reach their highest potential.

Parul

Parul holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology as well as a Master in Biotechnology (Advanced) in Immunology. She has tutored Chemistry and Biology to students in Years 10 to 12. Parul's experience has helped her learn to devise different plans for each student as every child has a different grasping level and understanding.

Rolanda is a first year Medicine student, she graduated in 2019 with an ATAR of 99+ and has experience tutoring through to volunteering during her High School years to teach those younger and less fortunate. Rolanda is passionate about creating an environment where her students feel comfortable and start to gain a love for learning. Through her own experience in studying for selective school exams and her HSC, she is able to understand and facilitate the problem areas where students may lack in to achieve their best.

Kris completed his VCE with a fantastic ATAR of 99.65, and has a passion for all things Mathematics and Science. He has experience tutoring and working with students of all ages, learning abilities, and learning styles.
