Year 11 Mathematics Standard
Our Year 11 Mathematics Standard program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the NSW Syllabus. As part of our program, students explore the application of linear relationships and measurement to problems with real-world application. Students also develop an awareness of the relationships between different countries through a study of Earth geometry. An investigation into flat-rate interest, income tax and budgets helps develop a student’s ability to make informed financial decisions and to manage personal financial resources effectively. In addition, our program further explores Probability and Statistics including the introduction of new practices.

Year 11 Standard Maths gives students the chance to build on areas of study introduced in Stage 5 and fills any gaps to ensure every student has a solid foundation in mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Meet Dr Selina Samuels
Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.
Maths Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Based on the state and national curricula for Years 11 and 12, Cluey’s approach to senior Maths focuses on advanced topics, such as calculus and statistical analysis, and is intended to prepare you for Maths at a tertiary level. Our personalised approach focuses on exam prep and gives you the opportunity to develop in areas you find challenging.

Rishabh completed his Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019, going on to study his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Adelaide, commencing in 2020. He has experience as a Peer Support Leader throughout high school and during 2020 was a formal Tutor to high school students in English, Latin, German and UCAT. Rishabh likes to maintain a warm and supportive rapport with his students, encouraging them through their struggles. He strives to explain difficult concepts both efficiently and to the needs to each individual student.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.

First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
