Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Joshua completed the Higher School Certificate in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 97.25 then went on to enrol into his Bachelor of Economics/Bachelor of Advanced Studies at The University of Sydney. Joshua understands the drive for self-improvement, and hopes to pass on his knowledge to assist his students to achieve their best.

Callum
VIC University Student (Bachelor of Commerce)

Callum completed his Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019, achieving an ATAR: 96. He went on to study his Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and Finance at the University of Melbourne. Callum has worked in Primary schools delivering Physical Education workshops and currently works delivering quality vision impaired sports experiences to schools. He has History tutoring experience with Years 7-12. Callum is a strong communicator who can assist students with preparation to navigate through the complexities of assessments and exams to optimise results. His strengths lie in helping students prioritise important work/content and provides tips from his own experience as a student to ensure they can achieve their goals.

John achieved an ATAR of 95.5 and was the Dux of his High School. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science at Monash University. He is an experienced Physics and Maths tutor and is proud to share his passion for these subjects through the medium of teaching.
