Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

He is currently at university studying Law and Social Science, and has experience working as a Teaching Assistant and has a passion for many subjects especially Maths and English. Jordan graduated Year 12 in 2019 and finished in the top 10% of the state with a 91.75 ATAR. He has a passion for teaching and has worked with a variety of students including children with special needs, and loves coaching/playing football and cricket in his spare time.

Brendon completed his Higher School Certificate in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 98.80, going on to commence his Bachelor of Computer Science/Media Arts. He has experience as a formal face-to-face Tutor primarily in English. During his time in High School he also organised mentoring sessions for his peers to expand their knowledge and skills in preparation for their Higher School Certificate, mostly in Chemistry and Physics. Brendon hopes to share his knowledge to help others achieve the same success he has had.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. John has 9 years' experience tutoring Primary, Secondary and University students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting and English. During John's time teaching and tutoring, he has helped many students with different learning needs, including those with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia as well as supporting students with Autism.
