Rishabh completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 96.95. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Finance, Economics and Statistics (Honours) at the Australian National University. Our Year 12 Mathematics Advanced program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the NSW Syllabus. Students develop graphical techniques such as transformations of various functions including trigonometric functions. Students also learn further calculus techniques which help to describe the behaviour of graphs and functions as well as solve optimisation problems. The concept of the anti-derivative is examined and developed into methods for finding the area under a curve. In addition, students learn to select appropriate techniques when working with arithmetic and geometric sequences and their application to financial situations. We review bivariate data analysis methods and investigate continuous random variables and the normal distribution.
Our Year 12 Mathematics Extension 1 program addresses all relevant outcomes as outlined in the NSW Syllabus. Students build mastery of the technique of proof by mathematical induction to prove results. Students also explore vectors and their application to real-world problems. They achieve mastery of advanced methods to solve trigonometric equations through practice. Students further develop their calculus techniques to determine volumes of solids of revolution. The Binomial Distribution is also investigated as part of our program.
Our Year 12 Mathematics Standard program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the NSW Syllabus. Students develop their understanding of non-linear functions and how they can be used to model practical problems. Students also develop mathematical techniques to provide solutions to investment, loan and annuity problems. Statistical analysis techniques including bivariate data analysis and the normal distribution are introduced. In addition, the study of non-right-angled geometry is expanded to solve radial surveys. An investigation into networks and critical path analysis enables students to find solutions to real-world applications.
Our Year 12 Chemistry program covers all relevant syllabus outcomes in NSW. Key topics covered are: equilibrium constants, solution equilibria, acid and base chemistry including pH calculations and titration, nomenclature and reactions of various organic compounds including fuels and polymers, analytical techniques for inorganic and organic substances (including colourimetry, AAS, infrared, NMR and mass spectroscopy), reaction pathways and industrial reactions and conditions. To excel in Year 12, students must exhibit competency in exam technique by providing relevant information and correctly structuring responses and displaying working.

Due to the Greater Sydney lockdown and my son in year 12, I needed to find a tutor urgently to help with preparing him for HSC. The tutor allocated was ok but my son needed some specific help with parts of the curriculum and particular texts so we needed someone with specific experience and knowledge of the year 12 curriculum and this years novels and poems. Cluey put out the call to their database of tutors with what we were looking for and got a reply from a tutor who not only was familiar with the texts and curriculum, but had written training papers on the text! He was a perfect match as a tutor for my sons needs and my son has gained so much confidence.
