You may encounter new kinds of texts - hybrids of visual, spoken and written, featuring ethical and global dilemmas, challenging and unpredictable plots. Students will be evaluating, comparing and composing increasingly complex writing and performance. It's a great chance for them to consider their own position in the world as a creator and responder. Cluey has an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to help with essays, oral presentations, creative and persuasive writing - plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.

English Year 7

Your child might be engaging with novels and newspapers, poems and plays, digital media and dreamtime stories. It's important to the Cluey Education Team that every learner feels confident in their understanding and ready to tackle any assignment. We have an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to support creative and persuasive writing - plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.

Here’s what parents and students around Australia are saying about Cluey Learning:

★★★★★
My grade 4 son was looking to improve his general English skills including: being more confident in creative writing; sentence structure; grammar; and reading comprehension. He was paired with Alisha and in a matter of seven sessions it has improved exponentially. He has more confidence. The quality of the work he is producing is of a higher standard. He is becoming more critical in his thinking. Highly recommend this service.

★★★★★
Cluey have been great for over a year with our daughter. She was struggling with literacy and falling further behind between Years 2-4. Now she is passing all her subjects including English! Her tutor is excellent and the online video and program means she can learn in the comfort of our home and not needing drop off and pick ups. The only reason for not giving 5 stars, is there customer support desk are difficult to work with when a tutor is unavailable or on holidays and they want to change our time.
