English Tutoring Lower North Shore

So far so good

My daughter who is in year 5, has had three 1-1 remote lessons with an English and maths teacher.Both teachers appear very knowledgeable. My daughter is once again excited about learning and feels more confident as a result of these lessons. The online platform the kids use during the session is intuitive and ease to use. The feedback sent after the lesson is great to ensure parents are across what was done during the lesson.

Great learning experience

I was looking for tutoring to support a Year 11 and now Year 12 studies. We have been matched with good tutors for both math and english. The systems are great and allow parent to make sure sessions are effective, swapping and pausing is easy and very flexible. I was reluctant for an online forum however convinced now by the service offered and convenience of being able to books sessions (without the drop/off and pickup runaround!). Like any service like this, it all relies on the Tutor your student is matched with - we had a substitute tutor for one session and their communication style was different so not as conducive to my student's learning style. The system provides for you to swap out a tutor if its not working out. We are happy to the first match of tutors provided - just more cautious if we are being offered a substitute in future. Overall very happy with the service and we will be continuing this year.

Convenient

Cluey has provided us with a convenient way for our year 4 son to build confidence in Maths and English. His tutors are so patient and understanding and reports are received almost immediately his session ends.

I've recently signed up my 8 year old for English and Maths tuition with Cluey to reinforce and extend his learning. The Cluey learning platform is a very structured program that has allowed my son to remain engaged, focused on the learning intention and successful in grasping the targeted concepts by the end of each 1 hour session. Having access to many tutors, Cluey was also able to effectively match my son's personality and learning-style with the right tutor, allowing my son to remain excited and keen throughout each lesson, thereby maximising my investment. I had initially gone to market to find tutoring on a face-to-face basis and was initially not particularly keen for an online tutoring service, but Cluey has proven that online learning is not a hindrance to my son's learning. In fact, I have found Cluey's online learning platform as very convenient for us in terms of just logging on for the lesson and is resilient, where our weekly tuition session is not impacted by the pandemic situation the world is facing today. Covid lockdowns and home schooling have been hard on my Year 6 daughter, so we looked into online tutoring to help her out. Cluey Learning offered very competitive rates, with discounted introductory sessions, the choice of 1:1 or group sessions for Maths and English and flexibility around session times. The communication from my initial contact was fantastic and within 2 days we had a schedule booked in for my daughter. It has now been 6 weeks and I couldn't be happier with the progress she has made. Her tutors are very engaging and encourage her with her work. They post homework, which is achievable, and the platform is very easy to use. We have only used the 1:1 sessions so far, but are looking at moving to the group sessions for the rest of the year. I would definitely recommend Cluey Learning for anyone who is looking for extra help for their child.
