Our Year 12 Further Mathematics program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the VIC Syllabus. Students undergo an in-depth study of its two core topics, Data Analysis and Recursion & Financial Modelling. Students build mastery in finding solutions to real-world problems through rigorous practice.

Our Year 12 Mathematics Advanced program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the NSW Syllabus. Students develop graphical techniques such as transformations of various functions including trigonometric functions. Students also learn further calculus techniques which help to describe the behaviour of graphs and functions as well as solve optimisation problems.

**Mathematics** Extension 1 **Year 12**

Our Year 12 Mathematics Extension 1 program addresses all relevant outcomes as outlined in the NSW Syllabus. Students build mastery of the technique of proof by mathematical induction to prove results. Students also explore vectors and their application to real-world problems.

Our Year 12 Mathematical Methods program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the SA/NT Syllabus. Students build on their understanding of differential calculus to discover the link to integration and build mastery of the various techniques and their applications. Students also study the logarithmic function and its derivative.

Our Year 12 Mathematical Methods program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the QLD Syllabus. Students examine the properties and graphs of linear, polynomial, inverse, exponential and logarithmic functions. Trigonometric functions are developed to include special identities.

## We asked some of our Mathematics students what they thought of their tutoring sessions:

"Even if I did not know how to answer the question, I was prompted and asked further and it helped me understand "

"I enjoyed the session today, and so far im confident with integration"

"I touched on what is going to come in 2019 in my year 12 mathematics class and revised my algebra skills. "

"As I was able to re-learn the basic fundamentals of Math in this session along with revising the content that I have once forgotten "

"Need to change program to fit school, I will be in contact with my school math department to find out the order of topics "
