He then went on to commence his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2019 at the University of Adelaide. Jose has formal and private tutoring experience of 3 years with middle and senior secondary students in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Jose believes that no one is truly bad at a subject, they simply have not had it explained the right way yet. Nicole completed her South Australian Certificate of Education in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 98.8. She commenced her Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) and Bachelor of Mathematical Computer Sciences in 2020 at the University of Adelaide. She has formal Mathematics and English as a Second Language tutoring experience, starting in 2020 in both one on one and group session environments. Nicole believes in the importance of willpower and perseverance and her students not being afraid to step outside of their comfort zones to continue to challenge themselves.
Our Year 12 Chemistry program covers all relevant syllabus outcomes in SACE Chemistry. Key topics covered are: global warming and climate change, pollutants, acid and base chemistry with pH calculations, buffer solutions and titrations, chromatography and AAS, rates and conditions of reversible reactions, nomenclature and reactions of various organic compounds, including biological molecules, fuels, galvanic and fuel cells, heat capacity, water and soil chemistry, polymers and recycling. To excel in Year 12, students must exhibit competent exam technique by providing relevant information and correctly structuring responses and displaying working.
