English Year 7

Your child might be engaging with novels and newspapers, poems and plays, digital media and dreamtime stories. It's important to the Cluey Education Team that every learner feels confident in their understanding and ready to tackle any assignment. We have an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to support creative and persuasive writing - plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.

We signed up for my year 7 son for maths as he was a bit behind with covid closures of school. He is well and truly back on track but most of all feeling confident with his schooling. Hi Tutor is fabulous and very good with my son.

I approached Cluey at the start of the year as I was “shopping around” for a maths tutor for my 13 year old son. He struggled with maths in Year 7, ending the year with a “D+”. Fearing he would fall further behind and give up on maths altogether, I started researching different tutoring options. I found Cluey's remote approach quite unique and loved the fact that each session was recorded so that I could watch them but more importantly my son could watch them as part of his revision. I am very happy to say that by the end of Term 1, my son now sits proudly as an “A” student for maths and I have to give all credit to Cluey and my tutor Caio who has really spent the time to explain things clearly to ensure my son understands everything. Thanks Caio and thanks Cluey!

Cluey is building my daughter's confidence
★★★★★
My child has a medical condition and has missed quite a bit of school. By joining Cluey learning he has gained confidence and has been able to fill in the gaps he has missed. He is always very excited to do the lessons and he always reflects back to me what he has learned. His tutor always checks with my son what he has been doing at school so he can extend on this.

Extra boost of confidence
★★★★★
My son is lost in the system. He is that good child that they do not see. We started Cluey a few weeks back. I love the flexibility of doing it in our own home. The maths tutor gets it. He gets my son to work through the problems and figures out where he is making mistakes. They work back through the problem to fix it. My son than works on other similar problems that he does not get. Our tutor works with my son on the deficits in his maths knowledge. Having one on one allows my son to work on his individual needs.
