Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Joel is a student at Bond University in Queensland, completing a Bachelor of Laws and International Relations. Joel tutored throughout secondary school, and participates in an English club at his University for additional learners, and currently works as a research assistant. She plans to commence her Masters of Fine Arts in Writing & Performance at the National Institute Of Dramatic Arts in 2021. She has also volunteered as a tutor abroad in International Studies. He completed his Bachelor of Economics in 1988 through the University of Queensland and a Post Graduate Diploma of Education in 1994 also through the University of Queensland. Between 2001 and 2020 he has been working with-in Special Education and has taught mainly Mathematics and English to Years 7 to 10. Justin enjoys being part of his students' learning journey.

David is a qualified and registered Teacher having completed his Master of Teaching Secondary in Maths and Science from the University of Melbourne in 2019. During this degree he also completed the LANTITE Numeracy and Literacy Tests, and achieved well above average in his Numeracy test. David's background in Engineering reinforces his ability to break down complex mathematical concepts, and explain them to his students in their most simplest form. David understands that all students learn at a different pace and ensures his students feel comfortable with a topic before progressing.
