Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Dagan is currently studying his Master of Teaching (Secondary) after having completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a major in History and minor in Literature. He has experience teaching year 8 English Literacy and year 10 Mainstream English. Dagan is passionate about education and dedicated to improving the lives of young people.

Amanda

Amanda has completed a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology through the University of Western Australia in 2010. She then followed on with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from Murdoch University in 2011. Amanda completed a Juris Doctor at Murdoch University in 2015 and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2016. Amanda has experience teaching students aged 3-18 years in English as a second language, English, English Literature and Assignment Research Skills to T.A.F.E., Hong Kong, ESL, high school and primary school students. Amanda is passionate about helping students develop their key literacy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence.

Mana

QLD University Student (Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Honours))

Mana graduated High School with an ATAR of 96.20 and is now studying her Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology. Mana does private piano tutoring with students ranging from grade 2 up to grade 9 and enjoys teaching students of all ages. During her school studies she was always happy to help her peers in their studies. Mana is a bright, capable and enthusiastic Tutor who brings great dedication to her students and their learning.

Nathaniel is currently studying his Bachelor of Science Mathematics, majoring in Applied Statistics and minoring in Economic Studies. He has experience in tutoring Mathematics to years 4 - 12.
