Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Alice completed her Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 91.65 and is currently studying a Masters of Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education at Deakin University. She has worked full time as a classroom assistant and has vast experience tutoring Mathematics and English. Alice is passionate about making a positive impact in her students' lives and sharing her enthusiasm.

Chelsea completed her Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) in 2018 at the University of Sydney, followed by beginning her Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Linguistics and Hearing and Speech) in 2019. She has 2 years tutoring experience, assisting students in primary and high school in English and Mathematics for years 2-10 and year 12 Higher School Certificate Standard English and Higher School Certificate Mathematics General. Harry completed his Victorian Certificate of Education in 2011, going on to complete his Bachelor of Biomedicine, majoring in Human Structure and Function in 2016 at the University of Melbourne and then commencing his Master of Public Health. He has 2 years' experience as a formal Tutor to primary school and early high school students in both English and Mathematics, online and face to face. Harry enjoys engaging his students with a fun and positive approach to learning Numeracy and enabling them to achieve success, as well as develop a confidence in their abilities.
