Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Jackson graduated from Year 12 in 2020 and is now studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Creative Writing. Jackson has experience tutoring students in English and Literature, both of which he has a passion for. Jackson enjoys exploring texts with his students and providing the tools necessary for his students to identify concepts and themes within those texts.

Max graduated in 2019 with an ATAR of 97.35 and is currently studying a Bachelor Arts/Commerce with a major in Sociology and Marketing. Max has experience tutoring students in English and is passionate about developing student's critical analysis skills as they derive meaning from great texts and acquire educational independence. Maria completed her Higher School Certificate in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 98.60 and went on to study her Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in Diagnostic Radiography. Arpana is a PhD (Quantum Physics) student at Swinburne University who loves teaching and explaining mathematics and science at each level.
