Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Mario completed his Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 96.80. He completed his flexible double degree at the Australian National University, graduating with a Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and minoring in English Literature) in 2020. Mario has been tutoring since 2017 and has tutored students in a wide range of subjects, from Chemistry to Literature. Mario aims to deliver engaging and enjoyable lessons to students of all abilities to help them achieve and exceed their academic goals.

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Media (Screen and Sound))

Tess completed her Year 12 certificate with an ATAR of 90.00 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Media (Screen and Sound) at University of New South Wales. Robert is an experienced teacher with a double degree in Arts and Teaching. He has taught generalist middle school subjects to years 5-8 for much of his career (Maths, English, History, Geography, Science, Technology) and has also taught from Prep to Year 8 students in the past. Robert's favourite subjects are Maths, English and Civics (part of HASS). He enjoys camping, playing video games and running in his spare time.

Daniel commenced his Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences in 2018 at the University of Queensland. He has tutored Biology & Statistics through his university course from 2019.
