Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Dimpal completed her Western Australian Certificate of Education in 2018, achieving an ATAR of 94.75, going on to commence her Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) at Curtin University. She has been tutoring High School students in years 7-12 in English and years 11 and 12 in Human Biology and NAPLAN, both online and face to face. Joshua is a qualified, registered Teacher, holding a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the Australian Catholic University. In 2019 he completed his Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies at Monash University. From 2012 Joshua worked as a private Tutor with students in years 7-10 in Mathematics and students in years 7-9 in English and Logic. He has experience with special needs students and believes they have provided him with insight and experiences that have made him a more patient and critical tutor.

Maria is currently studying towards a double degree in Science and Teaching from the University of New South Wales. She has extensive experience tutoring both Primary and Secondary level students, particularly in Mathematics and the Sciences. Maria works especially well with struggling students, as she takes the time to ease any confusion and doubt that they might be feeling towards the course material and simplifies concepts for them.
