Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Nicky competed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 92.95, then went on to study a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University. Nicky aims to adopt a learning approach which will maximise academic performance, build self-confidence in particular areas of studies and subjects, and ultimately excel her students skills and knowledge, which will be appropriately tailored to each student.

Cassidy is currently completing a Bachelor of (Secondary) Education. She has excellent people skills and is able to relate well to others and get them to understand complex concepts when she is teaching them. Kirsten has completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and History and is now undertaking her Master of Secondary Teaching in English and History. She is interested in teaching students with a variety of learning needs and instilling an enthusiasm for lifelong learning. Kirsten has experience tutoring students with a range of needs and enjoys getting to know her students and the ways they learn. When Kirsten is not studying to become a high school English teacher she is reading and reviewing novels on her "bookstagram" account. Through teaching English, Kirsten hopes to foster a similar love of reading within her students.

She has professional experience tutoring Victorian Certificate of Education students in Mathematics and Chemistry. Charlotte has a passion for problem solving and helping others.
