Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Chloe is a qualified, registered Teacher, having completed a double degree with a Bachelor of Teaching and Bachelor of Arts with an English and German major. As part of her studies she completed 4 placements teaching English and German in High Schools. She has experience as a private Tutor and university student Tutor. Chloe has experience working with students with a variety of abilities as well as students with special needs. Chloe brings a very student-centred approach to her sessions and strives to help her students unlock their potential.

Serena completed her Higher School Certificate in 2020, achieving an ATAR of 92.60. Serena aims to deliver engaging and enjoyable lessons to students of all abilities to help them achieve and exceed their academic goals.

Georgia completed her Year 12 certificate in 2020 and excelled with her English subjects. Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.
