Students build on their algebraic techniques and their application to linear and non-linear graphs. They examine proportion and rates of change and apply then to practical problems. Students build on their understanding and practices of trigonometry, congruence, similarity, surface area and volume within real-world contexts. Statistics is further developed to include analysis of bivariate data.
You may encounter new kinds of texts - hybrids of visual, spoken and written, featuring ethical and global dilemmas, challenging and unpredictable plots. Students will be evaluating, comparing and composing increasingly complex writing and performance. It's a great chance for them to consider their own position in the world as a creator and responder. Cluey has an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to help with essays, oral presentations, creative and persuasive writing - plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.

Here’s what parents and students around Australia are saying about Cluey Learning:
My 16yr old son was very good at math but lost his confidence in Year 10. After looking for one on one tutors to help him and having no luck (especially in a Covid climate) I found Cluey on line and decided to give them a call. After talking to the representative on the phone I knew that I had found exactly what we wanted and now my son is gaining his confidence back and looks forward to his weekly sessions with his Cluey tutor.
I am so glad we went with Cluey and would recommend them to anyone who needs a flexible, friendly, safe and knowledgeable tutoring service.
I needed a flexible tutor service that meet my son's needs. He is in year 10 at high school but wasn't keeping up with the class content, unfortunately some of his teachers weren't able to give him the support he needed and he was lagging behind in which his self confidence was suffering.
We have used Cluey for Term 1 2021 and his confidence has really improved and with the 1 on 1 Tutoring has helped enormously .. a big thanks to the tutors..
My Year 10 child was losing confidence with Maths as a result of remote learning and a reluctance to ask the questions he needed to in order to improve his understanding. Finding Cluey via an internet search I went with the trial period and the results have been very pleasing. The one-on-one attention has made a big difference as he has gone from high 60's into the 90's with some of his tests. He has formed a good learning relationship with his tutor and is reaping the benefits. This has been critical as he needs a high level of maths competence to pursue his desired career path.
Cluey is a wonderful addition to our son's Year 10 education. It gives an additional layer of support during the ups and downs of adolescence and modern schooling.
The people are very helpful. I have never had to use a tutor before so I was told how it worked and they help me decided what I needed for my grand daughter. I found this company very helpful. I wanted certain things and they have done that. The teachers are really good cause my grand daughter is telling me what they did which is great to hear. Just one thing. I wish they did science for year 10. Excellent company.
