To make sure your student is assured of success, the Cluey Education Team has an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to support essays, oral presentations, creative and persuasive writing - as well as grammar and spelling to give that final polish. If you're looking for assistance or extension in Year 8, our tutors are ready to help.
You may encounter new kinds of texts - hybrids of visual, spoken and written, featuring ethical and global dilemmas, challenging and unpredictable plots. Students will be evaluating, comparing and composing increasingly complex writing and performance. It's a great chance for them to consider their own position in the world as a creator and responder. Cluey has an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to help with essays, oral presentations, creative and persuasive writing - plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.
In Year 9, your child will be engaging in higher order reasoning and increasing abstraction. It's a great chance for students to consider their own position in the world as a creator and responder. The Cluey Education Team is ready to support them at every stage, with units for essays, oral presentations, creative and persuasive writing, as well as spelling, syntax and grammar. Whether it's catching up or getting ahead, our custom learning plans are tailored to your child's needs.
Your child might be engaging with novels and newspapers, poems and plays, digital media and dreamtime stories. It's important to the Cluey Education Team that every learner feels confident in their understanding and ready to tackle any assignment. We have an ever-expanding bank of resources as well as units ready to support creative and persuasive writing - plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.
Students build their analytical skills, gaining greater insight into the choices made by the creators of texts and how these impact readers. The focus on evaluation in the final years of the primary curriculum requires a larger technical vocabulary, greater ability to understand abstract meaning and figurative language, and to master a range of text types. Pre-essaying writing skills are consolidated in preparation for Year 7.

Here’s what parents and students around Australia are saying about Cluey Learning:
My child was struggling with Math and English. Since Cluey learning have come on board to help, my child has grown to love Math & English and things have picked up. So far so good. I am happy with Cluey Learning.
I went to Cluey to get extra help with my Lantite prep for both Numeracy and Literacy. Both my tutors were able to help break down the content and pointed out my weak/strong points when answering questions. Once I knew what I need to work on it made it easier to do practise questions because I knew what I should and shouldn't do when answering the questions! I highly recommend giving Cluey a shot if you're struggling, I found my Numeracy sessions to be super helpful since I struggled to remember formulas or how to even break down a question. The sessions are one-one and the tutors are super supportive and are great at giving confident boosts.
Cluey has supported my 15 yr old boy to improve his confidence in English comprehension, writing and ability to focus better on his lesser liked subject and one that challenges him. He does not complain about doing the tutoring work and seems engaged.
this service is very helpful but they provided me with a tutor who had not read any of the books I needed help on. in the future, I hope they provide customers with tutors who have studied the texts needed for English. overall I do believe my assigned tutor was extremely helpful and he could still help me with my work, despite never having read any of the texts.
I wasn't sure about online tutoring at first especially after online schooling, my son hated it. But Cluey has definitely surpassed my expectations. Initally they asked alot of questions about the situation/concern, what I would like my son to learn, his personality and interests to match a tudor for him. He had trouble putting his ideas onto paper and to spice his sentences up. After a few lessons, I have notice a difference in his confidence level and has started to enjoy writing stories. The lessons are very interactive and my son is having fun at the same time. It's convenient at home and flexibile to schedule and reschedule. At the moment I have scheduled it fortnightly which works really well for our busy family schedule. I highly recommend Cluey and have no regrets signing up.
We've only been with Cluey for a few months but my daughter actually looks forward to her weekly tutoring sessions with Cluey. Before Cluey she lacked both motivation and confidence in numeracy and literacy. Her tutors are engaging, patient and understanding with respect to her individual learning needs. We will be continuing with Cluey!
