Since 2019 she has been a peer mentor to current Victorian Certificate of Education students. Sami commenced her Bachelor of Commerce (Majors: Finance and Management) at the University of Melbourne in 2020. She has experience as a Student Teacher at local primary school with all primary years. During her time in year 12, she helped her peers with their homework for the Victorian Certificate of Education to help them achieve their goals. Sami delivers difficult concepts in a way that is simple, straight-forward and engaging for all ages.
Students build their analytical skills, gaining greater insight into the choices made by the creators of texts and how these impact readers. The focus on evaluation in the final years of the primary curriculum requires a larger technical vocabulary, greater ability to understand abstract meaning and figurative language, and to master a range of text types. Pre-essaying writing skills are consolidated in preparation for Year 7.

In Year 9, your child will be engaging in higher order reasoning and increasing abstraction. It's a great chance for students to consider their own position in the world as a creator and responder. Our Year 11 Chemistry program addresses all relevant syllabus outcomes in VIC. Students learn about atomic structure and the periodic table, chemical bonding, balanced chemical equations and moles technique, organic compounds including fuels and polymers, intermolecular forces and shapes of molecules, solubility and pH, reactions of acids, redox reactions, concentration, chromatography and volumetric analysis. A solid understanding of these core concepts is an essential foundation for students to excel in Year 12.
