Year 11 Chemistry
Our Year 11 Chemistry program addresses all relevant syllabus outcomes in ACT. Students learn about atomic structure and the periodic table, chemical bonding, energy changes in reactions, fuels, balanced chemical equations and moles technique, intermolecular forces and shapes of molecules, chromatography, gases, concentration, solubility and pH, reactions of acids, collision theory and rates of chemical reactions. A solid understanding of these core concepts is an essential foundation for students to excel in Year 12.

Hamilton brings a calm and patient approach to his sessions and encourages his students to be the guide of their own learning experience.

Ziang (Ocean) completed his Western Australian High Certificate of Education in 2018, achieving an ATAR of 99.90, going on to study his Bachelor of Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne. Between 2019-2020 he was a Peer Mentor at university as well as volunteering as an online Physics Tutor, helping first year students. Ziang is passionate about helping and inspiring his students.

NSW University Student (Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics)

Chemistry: Senior
Sourish completed the International Baccalaureate with a score of 37/45, equivalent to an ATAR score of 95.45. He took part in a mentoring program for Primary school students for 9 months and carried out Year 12 tutoring for over a year in the subjects of Economics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. He plans to complete Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics. Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
