Year 11 General Mathematics
Our Year 11 General Mathematics program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the QLD Syllabus. Students build on their knowledge of financial mathematics. We introduce the fundamental skills of working with matrices and provide practice to help students build mastery. The study of measurement and similarity are further developed for three-dimensional objects. Our program explores the statistical investigation process, applications of trigonometry as well as linear equations and their graphs.

Meet Dr Selina Samuels
Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.

Based on the state and national curricula for Years 11 and 12, Cluey’s approach to senior Maths focuses on advanced topics, such as calculus and statistical analysis, and is intended to prepare you for Maths at a tertiary level. Michelle completed her Master of Teaching (Secondary) in 2014 majoring in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. Michelle also acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 majoring in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne. Michelle has been teaching for 6 years with experience in Secondary classrooms with Years 7-12. Michelle helps students to achieve their personal best and exceed their own academic expectations.

Mathematics: Secondary & Senior
Brenton is currently studying his Bachelor of Science with a Mathematics and Statistics major at the University of Southern Queensland. He has some experience as a Peer tutor with fellow High School and university students. Brenton explains various concepts in an effective and engaging manner and helps his students to develop fundamental reading comprehension and calculation skills for confidence in the classroom as well as everyday life.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.

First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
