### Overview

The principal focus of this learning program is the use of rates and ratios to solve problems in practical contexts. This includes the interpretation of scale drawings, exploring the energy consumption and rating of household products and conducting comparisons of fuel consumption statistics. We will help students develop proficiency when working with fluency problems involving rates and ratios. This will enable students to confidently solve related practical problems.
