Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Bianca
VIC University Student (Bachelor of Arts)
English: Primary, Secondary & Senior
Bianca completed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019 with an ATAR of 95.85 then going on to commence her Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, with majors in Film, Television, Communications and Media Studies and a minor in Linguistics. During her time at school she was a Peer Mentor, helping Year 7-10 students with English and Humanities subjects. Bianca mentors her students with a positive, constructive attitude to help her students with any needs, from improving their writing, oral presentation skills or examination skills.

Rachel is a qualified Teacher (Primary) who actively engages with students to find out their learning needs and goals. She enjoys learning and wants to encourage this in all her students so that they find their passion and develop their skills. Shirin is a qualified Primary School Teacher, having completed her Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning in 2013. She started off as a Casual Relief Teacher across all Primary years, then went on to classroom teaching with a Year 1 and 2 class for 3 years before returning to casual teaching in 2020. She has experience across a lot of different schools as well as experience with special needs students. Shirin brings great patience to her students and realises that some students require more support than others.

Jason is a qualified Teacher, obtaining his Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary) in 2012. Since 2018 he has been a full time Teacher with Stage 3 students, and has previously had experience with all Primary years. Jason has experience with special needs and ESL (English as a Second Language) students. Jason is an adaptable and flexible Tutor who has enjoyed investigating and implementing a range of strategies and processes for online learning for his students and feels very comfortable facilitating students' learning online. He enjoys getting to know students and finding out their interests to help relate concepts to their everyday life.
