Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

She also has tutoring experience with students in years 1 - 10 in English and Mathematics. Stephen is a qualified, accredited Teacher, completing his Diploma in Teaching in 1978. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a Diploma of TESOL. He has experience as a Casual Relief Teacher and as a Classroom Teacher with Primary School students. Between 1999 to 2007 he worked as a Tutor, encouraging the development of Numeracy and Literacy skills in Primary and High School students. Since 2019 he has been working as a TESOL Trainer. Stephen is passionate about engaging and empowering his students and nurturing a love of learning.
