Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

She started as a Casual Relief Teacher in 2017 and taught Year 3 students for 2 years. She also has experience teaching a Year 4 student with Autism. Currently, Miranda teaches Kindergarten. Miranda understands that every child is unique, with specific learning needs and that as an educator it is her role to cater to the diverse learning styles of all children and engage students in learning so they want to become a life-long learner in an ever-changing society. She believes that every child has a right to be part of a safe and positive learning environment.
