Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?

NAPLAN is different from regular classwork

Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.

Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.

Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, NAPLAN is primarily used as a benchmarking tool, taking a snapshot of how school children across the country are tracking in terms of the literacy and numeracy skills that we believe are essential for their progress. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Joy completed her Higher School Certificate in 2013. She is currently studying her Bachelor of Arts (Pathway to Teaching Primary) at the Western Sydney University. She has 3 years tutoring experience in English and Mathematics for years 1 - 10 and has taught years 4-6 Mathematics in a class environment. Joy’s experience allows her to tailor her tutoring to individual students to deliver quality education that encourages confidence and growth.
