English Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Cluey's Primary English learning programs are based on the Australian National Curriculum for K-6 and focus on core literacy skills, including reading and writing techniques in the early years, and grammar and punctuation in the senior years. Our personalised approach gives your child the opportunity to slow down in the areas they find challenging to ensure they ‘get it’.

Tracey is a qualified, registered Teacher, having completed her Bachelor of Education (Primary), majoring in Early Childhood Education. She is currently studying her Master of Education Guidance and Counselling. She has experience as a Teacher's Aid, a Classroom Teacher and a Special Education Teacher. Tracey is passionate about embracing an equitable learning environment for all young children; academically, emotionally and socially. She believes that her dedication to the success of all students is evidenced by being competent in applying her prior and current professional skill set together with tertiary qualifications to achieve success while diligently catering to the individual needs of all students.

Kim is a qualified Teacher with 9 years of casual and full time teaching experience. She also has 15 years of tutoring experience, including Primary students, Secondary English students up to Year 12 and Secondary Mathematics students up to Year 10. Kim is an accepting, inclusive Tutor. She believes that tutoring is the place to make mistakes and for her students to work their way through them with a calm and encouraging Tutor. She provides a fun environment so that learning is possible and effective for her students.

Hayat has over 12 years of teaching experience, as a Community Teacher, working with students ages 6 to 13 years, as a Private Tutor in Mathematics and English and most recently as a Teaching Assistance, teaching small groups of students in Science, Mathematics and English. Hayat is passionate about working with young learners and helping students to excel academically.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
Closing 5 Minutes
Reflection and looking ahead
- Reflect on what has been achieved in the session
