Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary English focuses on developing students' literacy skills with in-depth studies of Shakespeare and essay structure in the early years, and deeper analysis of different texts and topics in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Based on the Australian National Curriculum for Years 7-10, Cluey’s approach to secondary Maths focuses on developing students’ numeracy skills with algebraic techniques and properties of geometrical figures in Years 7 and 8, and functions, indices and data analysis in Years 9 and 10. Our personalised approach gives you the opportunity to focus on areas you find challenging and maximise your understanding of each topic.

Parul holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology as well as a Master in Biotechnology (Advanced) in Immunology. She has tutored Chemistry and Biology to students in Years 10 to 12. Parul's experience has helped her learn to devise different plans for each student as every child has a different grasping level and understanding.

She holds a Diploma of Education (Economics and Social Sciences) and a Bachelor of Special Education (Postgraduate). Mohabagnamohosoth is in his final year of his Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the Queensland University of Technology. As part of his studies he completed a 15 day placement with Year 11 English, Year 8 Mathematics, Year 10 and 11 Chinese, as well as a 20 day placement with Year 7 Science and Mathematics and Year 9 Study Skills. Mohabagnamohosoth is an outgoing and fun Tutor who values teaching as an engaging life-long journey with youth cultures.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
