English Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Cluey's Primary English learning programs are based on the Australian National Curriculum for K-6 and focus on core literacy skills, including reading and writing techniques in the early years, and grammar and punctuation in the senior years. Our personalised approach gives your child the opportunity to slow down in the areas they find challenging to ensure they ‘get it’.

Carolina completed her Higher School Certificate in 2020, going on to then complete the Australian Catholic University "Step Up Into Teaching" Program. This program covers the theory behind education, the different methods of teaching and understanding the diverse needs of students. She is an online Tutor to Chinese speaking students in High School aged 10-20 years old, and has experience as an English as a Second Language Tutor with Primary and Secondary students. Carolina is dedicated to teaching students English and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Derya has completed a Bachelor of Education in 2021 from Griffith University. Derya values the learning needs of all students and believes it is imperative to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to flourish in the learning environment. Therefore, differentiation is a key factor in her teaching practice. She believes that the children of today are our future and Teachers should be a role model to them and display a good attitude to learning and growing to ensure that have something positive to offer to their surroundings and that they are not held back on possible life opportunities.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
Closing 5 Minutes
