English Tutoring Program Based on the National Curriculum
Cluey's Primary English learning programs are based on the Australian National Curriculum for K-6 and focus on core literacy skills, including reading and writing techniques in the early years, and grammar and punctuation in the senior years. Our personalised approach gives your child the opportunity to slow down in the areas they find challenging to ensure they ‘get it’.

Amy has been working as a fully qualified and registered Teacher for fifteen years. She has taught both Primary and Secondary aged students subjects such as English, Maths, Art, Film studies, Drama, P.E. and EAL (English as an additional language). She has worked as a Teacher in Victoria, Western Australia and in Northern Territory. Amy loves teaching students and being part of the learning process. She is very patient and understanding and can work with each student's individual learning style in order to assist them with their school work and help them improve their academic skills. She can help students gain confidence in their academic abilities and help them to become very competent at completing their school work as well as enjoying the learning process.

Cluey's Primary Mathematics learning programs are based on the Australian National Curriculum for K-6 and focus on core numeracy skills, including times tables in the early years, and fractions, decimals, percentages, angles and simple algebra in the senior years. Bali is a qualified Teacher with experience teaching English, Maths, and students with additional support needs (ASD). He has achieved his Bachelor of Arts in History/Religion and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary). Bali enjoys working with a wide array of students with different learning styles and finds great pleasure in being able to explain concepts to students and seeing them understand and explain it back.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
Closing 5 Minutes
Reflection and looking ahead
