Jason completed his Bachelor of Arts (History/Literary Studies) in 2020 at Deakin University. He has 3 years of tutoring experience, tutoring fellow university students during his time at university in History and Literature. In 2011 he also taught English in Cambodia. Jason works hard to build positive and productive relationships with his students, so they feel safe and motivated to try their best.

Currently, Zachary is studying a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery and has extensive experience tutoring Math and English. Meredith completed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2019 with an ATAR of 97.95. She then went on to commence her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Environmental Engineering at the University of Melbourne. Meredith has experience in helping peers with their studies during High School. Meredith looks forward to helping her students improve their confidence, understanding and appreciation of Mathematics and has a passion for making Mathematics accessible to everyone.

Isaac is currently studying his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Aerospace) at the University of Queensland. He has been working as an Educator at a Before and After School Care Facility since Apr 2019 for Primary students mostly in Mathematics. Isaac strives to create an atmosphere where students feel safe to ask questions and finds it rewarding to see students' skills develop and confidence grow as they learn.

Amanda has completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours (First Class) and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate, Medicinal Chemistry at Bond University. Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
Closing 5 Minutes
Reflection and looking ahead
