Mario is a qualified Teacher, holding his Graduate Diploma in Education (Italian/ESL), Teaching Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Arts Degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers Other Languages). Mario has over 30 years of teaching experience including English and TESOL , Mathematics and Italian, and is able to adapt to various student learning styles. He establishes and maintains an effective, encouraging learning environment, helping his students build confidence to achieve their goals.

Sara has a Bachelor and Masters degree in Arts (English) from the University of Sydney, as well as a Masters of Teaching, specialising in English and TESOL. Since finishing her teaching qualifications, Sara has been working casually in Secondary schools, and in private tutoring. She currently tutors English, including NAPLAN preparation, to students in Year 7-10.

Harriette completed her South Australian Certificate of Education in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 99, then went on to study her Bachelor of Law and International Relations at Adelaide University. She tutors Year 11 and 12 students in various South Australian Certificate of Education subjects, with additional experience tutoring Primary students in Numeracy and Literacy. Harriette prides herself on her friendly disposition and endeavours to make tutoring sessions as accessible and enjoyable as possible. She understands that every student learns differently and it is her incentive to ensure her students feel as though they are in a comfortable environment, where they can ask to questions and explore until they genuinely understand the content.

Based on the state and national curricula for Years 11 and 12, Cluey’s approach to senior Maths focuses on advanced topics, such as calculus and statistical analysis, and is intended to prepare you for Maths at a tertiary level. Our personalised approach focuses on exam prep and gives you the opportunity to develop in areas you find challenging.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
Session breakdown
First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)
- Review previous session's assigned practice (if subsequent session)
- Set session learning goals
45 Minutes
During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
- Tutor demonstrates, guides and explains concepts
- Work through any challenges
- Students are encouraged to explain their thinking to clarify their comprehension
Closing 5 Minutes
Reflection and looking ahead
